Breakfast is served at St Jamesand then off to the prime attraction Sparrebosch,and it’s 18 hole semi-links course set atop the spectacular Eastern Head at Knysna, overlooking the Indian Ocean on one side and the picturesque town and lagoon on the other. Designed by Ronald Fream it was voted the best new course in the country for 2001 and it certainly gives golfers a memorable encounter, with its large, sloping greens, fierce rough and elegantly landscaped bunkering. Lunch is awaiting at the Sparrebosch Golf Club – you might need it after a testing 18 holes. Discover Knysna at leisure and maybe a tour to the oyster farms. Dinner is served at the Knysna Waterfront where you can experience the friendly hospitality of the Eastern Cape.
