Medium term objectives
It is the intention to capitalise on the success of the London Shebeen and to open similar venues in:
Amsterdam Paris Munich or Berlin New York Chicago
It is not the intention to establish a mass-market franchise but to keep the identity of the Shebeen exclusive.
So far as possible, the projected expansion will be funded out of profits. However, outside capital may be sourced if it is considered to be more advantageous for the charitable aims of the company so to do.
While the initial repatriation of profits will be going to southern Africa, the net may be broadened to include deprived areas in other countries/continents.
Similarly, the theme of each Shebeen may change to encompass other cultures outside of Africa, e.g. Australia, New Zealand, South America.
